in doing so, they're talking about austerity social security security, pension, medicare, medicaid and that if we don't do that, everything in this country is going to fall apart. that's complete hypocrisy and a lie. what we need to be talking about, and it has to be part of any package of investment, is jobs. the federal government's direct role in creating jobs for the american people. get people working. people start paying things. they feel secure disposable income, and the real trickle down then begins in our economy. to avoid that issue and create this other hysteria is a disservice to the people who need work and creates anxiety among retired people about the benefits they've earned being in jeopardy. i think that's completely wrong. >> eliot: the ceos are coming down blanketing the media spreading their campaign contributions around, they are down there marketing a tax cut for their own businesses. it's almost a trojan horse. oh my goodness deficit deficit deficit, fix the tax code, and what are they proposing lowering their own taxes. it's a sham and they ought to be rolled ou
